LeaguePutt is an app for scoring disc golf putting games and leagues. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your mobile number or email address, display name, full name, and optionally your PDGA number.
- Location you give us: your city, state and ZIP code. If you tap "use my location", your device location is used once to look up your city and is not stored.
- Google sign-in: if you continue with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
- Face ID / passkeys: your fingerprint or face never leaves your device. We store only the public key your device creates for LeaguePutt.
- Putting data: the games you play, every putt made or missed, distances and scores.
- Basic usage: when you last signed in, and standard server logs.
How we use it
- To run your account, sign you in, and keep your scores and stats.
- To text a code to your phone when you sign up or recover your account. We don't use texts for marketing.
- To email you sign-in links or confirmations you asked for.
- To show league and match results to the players in them.
- To publish combined, anonymous putting statistics (for example, average make percentage from 20 feet). These never identify you.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who helps us run LeaguePutt
We use service providers that process data for us: Railway (hosting and database), Amazon Web Services (text messages), Resend (email), Google (optional sign-in), and BigDataCloud and Zippopotam (looking up a city from a location or ZIP code). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
Match Play cameras
In Match Play, your phone's camera streams live to your own tablet or computer and to your opponent's screen, so each player can watch the other putt. The video goes device to device (through a relay only when a network requires it) and is not recorded or stored. When you line up your camera, finding the basket in the picture happens on your device; the video isn't sent to us for that.
Putt clips are off unless you turn them on (Me > Putt clips). When on, your phone sends us a short, low-resolution clip of each of your own Match Play putts, which we store with our storage provider (Cloudflare) and use only to train LeaguePutt to recognize makes and misses. Turn it off any time; email us to delete clips you've shared.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and delete individual rounds in the app.
- To delete your account and its data, email us at cpiv1976@gmail.com.
- You can remove a Face ID sign-in from your account at any time.
Security and retention
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Sign-in codes and links are stored only in hashed form and expire. We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you ask us to, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Children
LeaguePutt is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown in the app.
